Sogesong consists of singer and lyre player Øyonn Groven Myhren and fiddle player Anne Hytta. Together they arrange and perform unique versions of old ballads from Telemark in the south eastern part of Norway, an area were the medieval ballads are preserved partly in living tradition, and with transcriptions of hundreds of ballads.
